Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.

Date: 2009-06-20 07:23 am (UTC)He's not really the Doctor, in the sense that he's his future or that they're connected the way all of his incarnations are, but a distillation of the Doctor's dark side between the twelfth and thirteenth incarnations - sort of like a cross between the Watcher and Jenny, if you think about it. The Master calls him "the Doctor" when he makes the big revelation about the Valeyard, but he doesn't really see him as the same man as he does with all the Doctors. However, at the same time he can be seen as being the Doctor, as this revelation enables Six to be able to declare the trial null and voice since, by Gallifreyan law, the same person cannon be defendant and prosecutor.
It's all rather confusing, really.
Ah, the past. Embarrassing to remember, really! :P

::catches you:: Nooo, don't run away! M*A*S*H was a fandom of mine when I was young myself!
I'm glad to hear it, because the second Fourteenth Doctor story is a crossover with M*A*S*H, and since you're familiar with it you won't be confused with all the references.
Trapper/Margaret is one of my TTPs (Two True Pairings) for that fandom, the other being BJ/Hawkeye. What I'm most sorry about in my fic is that, because I had to set it between episodes 1 and 2 of season 4 due to my wish to develop a couple of very minor characters (and my need, plotwise, to make Frank Burns commanding officer) Trapper was no longer in the camp and therefore I could not write T/M into it. I was also a bit insecure about writing part of it from Hawkeye's POV, as I've never written enough of him to feel I've grabbed his personality (I'm more used to write from Margaret's or Frank's perspective - her being a character I identify with, and he being a riot to write), but to my relief people have told me he is perfectly in character.
& I shall take it you enjoyed my recs? ^_____^
Yes, indeed. I'm not very used to read smut, because I rarely feel comfortable with it (except when friends have written BJ/Peg/Hawkeye or Trapper/Margaret smut for me :P) but it wasn't much of an issue here.
