And now I'm picturing Rose meeting Turlough. :P

You know, the second companion that came to my mind after Jamie, when it would come to inciting the ire of Hurricane Rose, was Turlough. I do think we're a bit psychic like that. :P But YES, TURLOUGH. That could be . . . interesting, yes?

But of course! He is Ten, and Ten does that kind of thing.

YAY! ::does a little dance:: That would actually be wonderful to see, I think. ^___^ I don't think I'd hate him right then, possibly. :D

Before Coupling, the only version I knew was Nat King Cole's. Doris Day's was a recent discovery.

And oh my, that is quite some scene!

Before I saw Coupling, her version was ALL I knew. But both versions are lovely! :D

& ISN'T IT? & I CAN'T GET THE IMAGE OF TWO & JAMIE DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT OUT OF MY HEAD & IT'S . . . WELL, IT'S SOMETHING. It's either that, or a bit of a tango-y thing - something with lots of dipping one's partner back in one's arms, lots of head falling back & a lot of closeness . . . what kind of sick mind do I have, honestly? ::giggles:: (I don't know; what's sicker - Two & Jamie having a dance like that, or - yes, laugh if you wish; I blame this idea ALL on the commentary of The Invasion - Pat singing Françoise Hardy's Tous les garçons et les filles IN FRENCH, WITH THE FRENCH ACCENT. TAKE YOUR VOTE. :P)

The funny thing is, the premise makes it look like it's going to be a cracktastic book, but it ends up being one of the most beautiful EDAs I've read so far.

Which one is it - I'm curious now! :D

In terms of Fitz's personal arch, there are two you should check out: Unnatural History (Fitz/Sam and Eight/Sam, though sadly not much in terms of Eight/Fitz) and Interference (not only it's Sam's last story and Compassion's first, but it has a HUGE BIG THING happening to Fitz that left me going "huh?" and which will have implications in later books).

Ooo, thankyou! I'll remember those two when I get back to reading the EDAs. Fitz♥♥

(& hee - I'm watching Tombwatch right now & GOODNESS ME, THE STORY OF THE LACY KNICKERS HAS FINALLY BEEN HEARD. ::dies:: I loved it! & yes, I'll never be able to think of that scene the same way again. :P)
