I say this because when I was but a mere fifteen-year old girl, I saw him in Laurence Olivier's Hamlet
I'll have to go and see if my father has that version. The only one I have is Mel Gibson's (Franco Zefirelli rocks in the Shakespeare adaptations).
I saw the Jacobi version in my English Lit class back when I discovered Doctor Who, and even though I had started with Five's team I already knew enough about Romana to make me keep expecting a blue box and a tin dog to show up at any moment. It was only years later that the new series began, and when I learned that Derek Jacobi was the new Master this came to mind and I went :O!!!!!

'O HI, I'LL JUST BE TAKING THIS WORLD OFF OF YOUR HANDS NOW DOCTOR.'
And I can just picture him doing that.

Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.
