Forgive me for ignoring all intelligent aspects first, but I should say it - LOOK AT HOW MAY THINGS WE CAN CONNECT TO DOCTOR WHO JUST IN THE FIRST HALF OF YOUR COMMENT ALONE.
An educated mind can connect Doctor Who to anything.

& ARGH, do you know I have no recollection of Lalla as Ophelia after she went mad?
it's the thing I remember the most about that version - instead of just singing the songs, she practically screams them at Claudius and Gertrude and it almost looks as if she's about to rip their heads off. Getting back to the theory that the personality of a Shakespearean character changes according to what is emphasised (as I had mentioned from the anger vs. melancholy readings of Hamlet), Lalla's Ophelia's madness is born from anger.

& I think Two would as well. & it'd be v. adorable to see. ^__^
Hee, I can just imagine his face. *pets*

Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.
