I think the only major voice control training I had when I studied was mostly in Japanese theatre, but I think I learned a lot when I studied Shakespeare, but that was mostly focused on projection, I think. Ack, it's been so long now it feels like . . . but my training was also on physicality, which is something I SUCKED at - it was always a note that I needed to move more & be a little more comfortable onstage, since I was rather insular, I suppose. Basically they told me to move around more! :P But I'm not a physical lass by nature - I was awful in our dancing lessons. (I have as much rhythm as a stick, frankly) But that's why I loved Japanese theatre - it was so different from Western theatre & I always enjoyed it, even though some of it can be quite tedious - I was one of the few that liked it!

& yes, it is quite fun to watch, but if you get bored, you might fall asleep. ;) I don't think I ever got to study Kabuki, which is the form most people know it in, but I did Noh & I think another form, but I can't remember what it was called, sadly. It's fascinating, I think.

I think it's a very tricky scene to animate. I know I wouldn't be able to do it myself.

Hmm, good point. I KNOW I couldn't. But hopefully, someone will try one day! :D
