Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.

Date: 2009-07-08 02:29 pm (UTC)O YES! ::giggles:: He DOES do that to a cheetah person in Survival after all! :D & I can totally see Ten's face after being tripped by, well . . . himself! & O, IT MAKES ME LAUGH. XD
Himself, most likely. *grins* Though if he was really annoyed with the conversation, he'd probably say something like, "What about Peri, Doctor? You do remember her, don't you?"
Now this would be an instant I'd be PLEASED to hear Six talk about himself for a solid ten minutes - FAR more interesting than another 'I MISS MY ROOOOOSE OMG!' cryfest from Ten. & YES! He SHOULD bring up Peri! Let's see what Ten says to THAT.
Or he'd look at Ten while he was talking and mutter "Sam Sam Sam Sam Sam Sam Sam..." to himself until Ten got the hint and shut up. :P
Or possibly ask if he even remembers his epic affair with Fitz to throw Ten off-balance entirely.
He mentioned having been a father to Rose at some point (making her look at him with a "WTF?" face) and tells Donna that he lost his family in The Doctor's Daughter, but he is yet to mention Susan by herself. *shakes head* Let's hope Moffatt corrects this.
I remember the former very well, but not the latter - I am so done with Ten I can barely sit through any of his stories. But I would LOVE IT if Eleven mentioned Susan. Or you know - ANYONE THAT ISN'T ROSE.
I would have kicked him out. Heck, ROSE would have kicked him out.
SERIOUSLY! I mean, it doesn't matter that they weren't actually, well . . . doing anything in the bed, but you don't say something like that & just ignore what someone just said to you! I mean, how bloody tasteless is THAT?I'm sure Rose would have been like, 'Doctor, that's kind of rude.'
Just because an actor has a cute accent in real life doesn't make his character likeable in my books.
YES, THANKYOU. I mean, if someone's pretty or has a lovely voice, it can't fully compensate in other areas! There are a few actresses I can think of who are pretty, but they're genuinely horrible at acting & no matter what their character is, I just end up disliking them. Though I've not found David annoying myself - his fangirls on the other hand, YES. His fangirls can be downright scary at times. I do like David & I DEFINITELY wish I could be as thin & as pretty as he is but in a girlish way, & I'll miss him kind of, but meh. His Doctor does NOTHING for me AT ALL anymore. Pretty, yes, but as the Doctor? It's not the same anymore. I just feel that after seeing so much of the original series & DISCUSSING it with you, that David's Doctor had no real substance in the end. He was just pretty & well - the Doctor. The only exception being Time Crash - I think he was great with Peter in it.
(& he has a hidden commentary on The Five Doctors? & he met Wendy? Ooo, I should find this - I found two cute Easter eggs on my Tomb of the Cybermen DVD!)
Which reminds me - I've recently watched a YouTube video in which Padders describes how she was the agent who discovered Matt Smith, and the way she seems to fangirl him (and how much she SQUEED about him being cast as Eleven) gives me high hopes about the boy. He's got the Zoe Heriot Seal of Approval TM. :D
OMFG ARE YOU SERIOUS?! SHE discovered him?! OMG! I was already warming to Matt Smith as Eleven (well, you know how I'm looking forward to Ten being GONE, anyway!) but I had NO idea Wendy was the one who found him in the first place! That is SO awesome, definitely. :D
On the other hand, David Tennant freaked her out when he was a young unknown, which I think says it all.
Hmm, did she say why, just out of curiosity?
(When I started watching the new series, David was the ONLY Doctor I knew & I just wanted to skip ahead & see his stuff, but the friend of mine who told me to see it wouldn't let me. :D I'm glad she didn't!)
