Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.

Date: 2009-07-13 03:55 pm (UTC)I don't dislike House but I still prefer to see Laurie doing comedies. Anyway, since my Thirteen is Stephen Fry, the Master had to be Hugh Laurie. I grew up with Blackadder, Jeeves & Wooster and A Bit of Fry & Laurie - those two are inseparable in my brain.
& now I'm imagining the Rani popping into the kitchen in the aftermath of the soup explosion & just being all annoyed & 'Koschei, did you blow up yet ANOTHER pot? Those things cost MONEY! We can't just make them in the TARDIS you know!'
*sporfle*
Ah, but I saw it in your eyes as well! :D
Really? Since our eyes have such different colours (mine are blue, and Frazer's are hazel) I never considered the eyes.
lucky - you have a Frazer-esque nose & all I got were Tom Baker's teeth & curls!
But everybody loves the teeth & curls. :)
Yes . . . but the faux-sort look so AWFUL, I think.
I wasn't even thinking of fake tan, since I agree it looks weird. But perhaps a moisturizer with some sunscreen, even if it's a mild one?
I would truly love to do it - I've never been out of the country sadly & this would be a wonderful place to go for my first holiday abroad.
My only ventures abroad were for shopping trips in Spain - crossing the border, especially with the European Union's laws on borders, is cheaper than going to one of out big malls, sometimes.
If I was to venture a bit further, though, I'd love to go to great Britain. My biggest dream is to move to Edinburgh.
I would only need to learn a bit of Italian, though. But I'm a bit rubbish with languages, I think.
I don't have much of a problem because Spanish and Italian have the same linguistic root as Portuguese and so it's easy to get what they're saying - providing the people I'm talking to speak veeeery sloooowly. And because I have a lot of French relatives I grew up listening to French and so can understand it without a problem; it's trying to express myself in it that causes the trouble. With my cousins it's the opposite so usually I talk to them in Portuguese and they answer in French - people we pass by when we walk down the street think we're mad.
There's a small part of the city here, near the highest point of it, that is FULL of faerytale-like houses & estates
Sounds lovely. ♥
But alas, we've no castles! I wish we did. :D
Here's the most famous of Sintra's castle, if you want to see it. Each part was built by different people in different eras, so it looks a bit mismatched - but that's what makes it so lovely. I've been inside it several times, and I'm always looking forward to pay another visit.
He IS the most magickal of all the Doctors. :D
Hence another reason why Eight has to be the future Doctor from Battlefield. :)
I have CHOKED from laughing so much over Ten's - both are QUITE proper for him! ::hugs Crazy Socks::
Ace is the one to blame for "Beanpole" - tha's what she calls him in The Ten Doctors. :D
