Elizabeth (Betsy). Twenty-two, almost twenty-three, but perpetually seventeen. Whirls back & forth between vulgarity & delicacies like a dervish proper & has been known to disappear for months on end. Worshipper of Carroll, devotee of Lovecraft & BPAL hoarder absolute. Destined for the madhouse.

Date: 2009-07-14 07:55 am (UTC)I WOULD watch House, but the fandom scares me. LOTS. & um, if I watch things about medical ailments, I'll end up thinking I'll contract it myself at some point. But I'm not a hypochondriac, oddly enough. Just a panicky person! :D
& a friend of mine sent me some of Blackadder in audio . . . or audiobook format . . . well, something like that, but I haven't listened to it yet, but I will in time! She's quite fond of it as well!
AAAH, I WANT TO DRAW THAT SCENE NOW. IMAGINE THE FRILLED APRON! THE SOUP EVERYWHERE! THE RANI'S FACE! ::giggles madly::
Really? Since our eyes have such different colours (mine are blue, and Frazer's are hazel) I never considered the eyes.
Interesting - I saw it the moment I looked at your eyes! Hmm. ::looks thoughtful::
But everybody loves the teeth & curls. :)
I most certainly do! But I don't think it works for this particular girlie, alas. (but oddly, I looked quite good in a Four scarf I had a chance to wear once! Well, I think I did, anyway! :D)
I wasn't even thinking of fake tan, since I agree it looks weird. But perhaps a moisturizer with some sunscreen, even if it's a mild one?
I hadn't thought of that before - I suppose I could look for some the next time I go to the druggist's. :D
My only ventures abroad were for shopping trips in Spain - crossing the border, especially with the European Union's laws on borders, is cheaper than going to one of out big malls, sometimes.
If I was to venture a bit further, though, I'd love to go to great Britain. My biggest dream is to move to Edinburgh.
::sighs:: That sounds SO glamourous, for some reason! V. jet-setting, really!
& o, Edinburgh! I've never been, but I've heard stories from people who have & it sounds so lovely - all of Scotland does, really - so magickal & dreamlike & untamed . . . . o, how lovely it must be to live there. ♥
I'd love to go to London one day - home of ORIGINAL mod fashion! How much fun would a shopping exploration through London be? :D
I don't have much of a problem because Spanish and Italian have the same linguistic root as Portuguese and so it's easy to get what they're saying - providing the people I'm talking to speak veeeery sloooowly.
For me, it's sort of reversed - I can READ a few words of French, Italian & Spanish, & maybe translate a couple of small titles & things, but I probably couldn't SPEAK it very well. & I don't know how I'm even able to KNOW the meanings or partial translations of some French things - I've never officially tried to learn it. It's just something I can do, I suppose. ::shrugs:: But I can imagine why I'd be able to do it a bit with Spanish & a tiiiiny bit of Italian - like you said, they do have the same linguistic roots! (but I'm not sure if I could try & do any of that with Portuguese!)
& O! That castle is so beautiful - it's breathtaking, actually! I adore the picture of the chapel & the clock tower. It looks so lovely. ♥♥
Hence another reason why Eight has to be the future Doctor from Battlefield. :)
I like that line of reasoning. Lots! ::twirls::
Ace is the one to blame for "Beanpole" - tha's what she calls him in The Ten Doctors. :D
HEE! Well, Ace was quite right, I must say! (but that still doesn't put me off wanting a Ten-shaped self in the world. :D)
