They are sweet, yes, and cheese is the main ingredient. As I've said, the recipe has been kept a secret by the Sintra confectioners, but my expert taste buds can vouch that it also includes cinnamon and almonds.

Anyway, have some quotes from the War Games production subtitles:

As it was first envisaged, the colour series would feature Zoe stranded on Earth alongside the new Doctor. The production team expected to lose Frazer Hines that year, but rather hoped that Wendy Padbury would stay on. Frazer's agent was pushing to get him out of television and into a big-screen career (which never materialised). His original plan was to leave Doctor Who at the end of 1968, 12 episodes into the series. (That would mean leaving Jamie behind on a planet of newly tamed Amazons, in a serial which was later abandoned.) When Frazer heard that Patrick Troughton was leaving too, he decided to give it six more months. That made up Wendy's mind: all three regulars would go together at the end of the 1968-9 series. The new Doctor would now be assisted by a scientist named Liz, who had not yet been cast as "The War Games" drew to an end.
