Date: 2007-12-20 09:25 am (UTC)I have to admit, I prefer Daniel before he ascended as well - it's kind of ironic in its own way, but I think after he de-ascended, he lost what innocence he had left - admittedly, it does/did/I don't know which helped make him a lot stronger & able to do what was necessary to save his team - I think one of the biggest things he got out of losing that innocence was the fact that he's now become more able to sacrifice one thing for the greater good - or something to that effect, it's late & I'm so poor at meta-ing on Daniel. ::giggles:: But I think I love pre!Ascended!Daniel the most because he's the side of Daniel I relate to the best & just see more of myself in. Something like that. ::winks::
& whee, enjoy the song! It's so lovely & quite Daniel-esque.
