Whoa, I seem to be finishing fanmixes at quite a fast pace!

Or, you know, not really, since the last two have been or were in a half-finished state before I posted them; they just needed a bit more work before posting.

Anyway, the point of this?

My Zagreus mix is finally up!! ::bubbles:: I had it up this morning, but I was so tired that I sort of forgot to mention it here.

I might put it up at [livejournal.com profile] rftardis in a bit - but that place is so scarily dominated by all new series mixes!

Well, anyway, mix is up, click the fake cut below & you can have it!

& go me, I finally got my sewing area up & got my machine out of its box. Now I just need to start practising!

(Maybe I'll work on some actual fic in the meantime - the next mix I have to post is a gen one, just for fun, while I work on a non-Who one.)

Also. Have become happily obsessed with the series Black Books. Want mixes. Or I'll make one, dammit. & we don't want that, do we? & icons, omg.

Oh! I didn't know you sewed/are learning! You'd love the Petticoat for the Ages. It was recommended a while ago on a Ravelry forum I was browsing randomly.

I wish to have several as well—but I don't have a sewing machine of my own (A. because I'm in a pseudoflat [i.e. a graduate dormitory] and B. I'd probably not use it very much) and the thought of hand-sewing anything larger than a handkerchief doesn't sound very pleasant. (Perhaps I'll email the PDF of the pattern to my mum . . .)

::sigh:: I need (or perhaps "would like" is better phrasing) more fluffy, flouncy skirts. I also need a sundress or two (because I haven't got any)—if I can find a style that doesn't require one to go braless. Perhaps I'll window-shop at Marshall's this weekend. Hopefully I'll get one of the library jobs I interviewed for. ::crosses fingers::

I am indeed attempting to learn! I have ambitions of making a pretty Eight-esque frock coat & or at the very least, making some of my own dresses! & you're most certainly right - I ADORE that page!! Thankyou SO much for linking me to it!! ::bubbles::

& o, you know, I need more flouncy, lovely skirts as well! & I need new riverdresses as well - my collection hasn't really been updated in a few years! (I'm in my mod phase of fashion, so it's been all about the miniskirts & minidresses for moi, lately) Good luck in looking for some lovely frocks this weekend, love! (& in getting one of the positions you've applied for!)
