Okay you Harry Potter fanpeople, YOU BROKE ME. I went to the shop & bought the damn thing this afternoon & just finished it a half-hour ago.

Okay, I am not even going to TRY to recap what I loved, what I gaped at & what I utterly flopped about over. This isn't my fandom, & it hasn't been since I was fourteen. I hated the ship wars & the bitchiness & whatnot, so I left.

But in light of all that, I just want to say one thing.

The battle's over. & we won.

& I am, oddly enough, nostalgic for my Harry/Ginny love as a result.

& now, I sort of miss it.

(& I cried after I finished it. I just CRIED. The epilogue broke my heart.)

& I actually DO intend to comment on as many posts related to all of this awesomeness as soon as I just let it all absorb. I'm going to unwind with some Stargate Atlantis now & try not to cry at random intervals as it DOES all sink in.

(O, god, somebody hold me please? It was TOO MUCH.)

I sort of felt like the epilogue read like medicre to bad fanfiction and wish it hadn't existed.
