First off, this is Betsy being a bad flister & not welcoming the newest faces to her LJ properly! So, if I may say it (though it is a bit overdue!), I'd like to welcome chasingkerouac, finding_jay & paw_tracks to my flist! ::gives the three of you chocolate chip cookies & firecrackers::

The creepiest thing happened to me yesterday while on my way to procure more SG-1 DVDs for myself. I got on the bus & this guy who I do believe couldh ave been old enough to be my grandfather sat down across from me & asked me what I was listening to. I answered & then he asked me what my name was & if he could have my number so "we could meet up sometime." I said very quickly that my phone was out of service & that I wasn't from the city when he asked me where I lived. When my stop came up, I scurried off that bus & far, far, far away from the creepy guy who, incidentally, got off at the same stop as I did.

::cringes:: THAT WAS CREEPY & KIND OF DISTURBING, FOLKS. Can sleazy, creepy people not hit on me please & thank you? Yay!

So, aside from the creepy old man dramatrauma, I've been good! It's been really hot here though, so I've been basically boiling alive pretty much everywhere I go, even in my own room, sadly. Sigh. No fun, I can assure you. But it is lovely weather for wearing my riverdresss! & I get to keep wearing flip-flops & no real jacket, so for those things, I am enjoying my hot weather! Just not the boiling alive in my own house bit.

& hee, results of my last poll! I'm surprised everyone voted for fluffy AU het over sexy-or-innocent girlslash. But hey, feel free to vote if you already haven't, ya know.

(& wow, you all really think I should do a Sheppard mix, don't you? ::giggles:: But that's good! I can do that! & maybe I will. ::twirly::)

But there's an actual point to this post, even though it's mostly for the SG-1 fen that I KNOW are on my flist - does anyone have any nice slashy Jack/Daniel recs you could share with me? Or, better yet, Daniel-centric fic you may have lying around? I'm not gonna deny it - I ♥ him like crazy & I'm seriously wanting to read some Jack/Daniel. So don't be shy, throw some at me! ::beams & looks sweet::

(yes, I may or may not be finished with season two BUT IT DOES NOT MATTER, YES? RIGHT.)
