It's been so cold here in Middle Lantea. Cold enough that the muscles in my ankle are killing me & making it hard to walk & cold enough so that I wake up shivering every morning, even in flannel pajamas & under several blankets.

Rain is coming soon. I've missed it.

Going Christmas shopping this weekend! I'm actually looking forward to it, mostly because I already know what I'm getting for whom, so I won't have to fight my way through (too!) many crowds. I still can't believe Christmas is so soon!

An unexpected windfall has come my way! Some of you may remember how I was discussing my plans for redecorating my room, but it looks like I got something even better: I'm going to be switching rooms with Mother! Father, apparently, has long since planned this & says he'll paint her room & put new carpeting down after Christmas & I can move in. I'm actually really looking forward to it, because I want to make my room a shrine to all things lovely & spaceprincess! I lose the loft I was going to make, but I get a nice set of windows & a real door. I think I'm okay with that.

1. I have NO clue whatsoever about musical genres. Sure, I know the basics, but I could NOT tell you what kinds I listen to, so usually, I just name artists & let people call it on their own.

2. Because of the first one, I make up a lot of my own genres that I think my music fits into. Examples are cosmic creamy space pop & industrial faery rock!

3. I love cheese! All sorts, especially blue cheese & feta - I could live off of those!

4. By birth, my sun sign is Aquarius, but I have always related more to Pisces, which I'm almost sure is my moon sign. Therefore, when I read my horoscope, I read both, & usually, Pisces is the most accurate.

5. I am almost entirely clueless about pop culture & what teenage girls my age are supposed to enjoy. I just blink in clueless confusion when such topics come up.

6. I hate going to the movies. I hate loud noises & used to get stomachaches when I went, so I almost never go, even if I want to. The cinema volumes make me uncomfortable.

7. I actually have been known to randomly meow in conversation, though not with strangers.

8. When I was a kid, the film Nosferatu used to scare me so bad I'd run behind the couch & hide. Oddly enough, I love it now!

9. I love making my own fashions/lifestyles/ways of being - mainly because I never fit into any of the premade ones!

10. I am really bad at this meme.

I discovered that I apparently have a very wicked thing for Cameron Mitchell. IT WAS SO UNEXPECTED, but dude, it's the ACCENT. That accent makes me rather weak in the knees, I'm sorry! Just . . . Cameron!

Though I think I'll never be able to call him Cam - that's what most people call my mother, as her name is Camilla - we call her Cam or Cammie, but I call her Charlotte. When I hear him being called Cam, I think of my mother.

Also, a little known fact - I was a Cameron once! I was eight & had decided that my name would be Cameron for a while. So I'm already kind of fond of him because we share a name . . . sort of. ::giggles::
