- I spent about ten minutes going up & down in one of the best luxury elevators in the city. mostly for pictures, but also because the heights make me feel safer than anywhere else I've been.
- then I slipped into chinatown for a spell to take pictures. & I realised that while I love chinatown in the heat of the afternoon, when the energy is at its highest there, it is even more beautiful in the early morning, where only the true denizens of the district are out, with very few tourists around. it's a subtle magick, but it's still there.
- I wrote river!fic. well, a snippet of river!fic, really. I should go & edit it a bit & post it eventually. river, a friend & riding in a glass elevator. preseries.

paw_tracks said in a comment once, about how perfect john sheppard would be in an I am legend setting & I think this totally backs her theory up.
- old!rodney was awesome. srsly. I want him to be my grandfather.
- seeing samantha carter in ANY UNIVERSE being dead just chills me to the bone. I don't want my sammie dead! but at least in that timeline, she went heroically & bravely. but still, NO DEAD SAM PLZ.
- LOLZ AT WOOLSEY IN HIS REALLY BADLY WORN ATLANTIS UNIFORM. WHAT THE FUCK. ::dies giggling::
- jenny & rodney getting together? um . . . well, if john was dead, then I won't make a big deal out of it. at least he was happy!
- jewel actually made me get a little sniffly during the bedside scene with david.
- WTF JEANNIE WAS BARELY ON. but still, she WAS on, so I should be happy for that, yes? yay jeannie miller!
- everything that happened after rodney left atlantis & the sgc & after jenny kicked, made me think of the fic freedom's just another word for nothing to lose. it was so.depressing & it made me so sad to see rodney mckay like that, but still, I loved watching it unfold.
- HAHA GENERAL LORNE, OMG NISHA, HOW HAPPY DID THAT MAKE YOU?
- overall, this whole ep made me think of the drifting classroom, what with new lantea being a desert a millenia after the atlantis expedition arrived. & john sheppard = totally sho takamastu! FTW.
- dudes, ever since we learned teyla's pregnancy is connected to michael's little science projects, have I been the only one who thinks that teyla's baby = sga's answer to vala & adria?
so, overall? AWESOME SEASON FINALE & WHEN THE FUCK IS SEASON FIVE GETTING HERE?
- I'm halfway through the manga series gals! ran kotobuki = my idol. also, I've started watching the anime of it, which is supergals! ♥♥♥ ran, aya & myiu are so.much.awesome. I can't wait to see the rest of season one!
- the final volume of the drifting classroom is out this month. OMG FINALLY. I NEED TO KNOW HOW THAT SERIES ENDS.
- I also got volume nine of NANA this month.
- TAKUMI NEEDS TO DIE, I'M SORRY. he split my girls up, therefore, somebody needs to take a flamethrower to his head.
- reira = layla in english? now I want to hear that song.
- I'm worried about nana! blackouts are NOT good things.
- hachi = cutest engaged thing EVER. even if she is engaged to a cockwaffle like takumi!

- volume nine = MOST DEPRESSING IN THE SERIES, FOR SRS. I felt so depressed after I finished it.
- I HAVE A DATE WITH THE BOYTHING THIS WEEKEND!!! yes, I bought a second new skirt for it. now I need to find a top. wheeee, I'm seeing my boything!
- THE ARK OF TRUTH IS OUT TOMORROW & I'M GOING TO SEE ABOUT BUYING IT. ::licks daniel & vala::
- I've been watching the colbert report & I do think I've gone & found my latest obsession. the last few minutes of last week's ep? FTMFW.
& I'm kind of shocked to discover that my mummy likes stephen colbert. she does! & I somehow did not know this.
- I was painfully reminded of why I cannot go out of the house without my hair straightened: IT LOOKS LIKE HERMIONE GRANGER'S HAIR HAD AN AFFAIR WITH COSMO KRAMER'S HAIR & MY HAIR WAS THE RESULT. O.M.G. it is THAT frightening. It's entirely possible I scared small children with it.
- I've become slightly obsessed with getting a pair of loose socks. THESE SOCKS, I WANTS THEM NAO PLZ. BADLY.
- I finally got a flickr! I'm riverdresses over there, so if you have a flickr, please tell me so I can add you!
- I missed this song. I've been listening to it a lot lately. it makes me ruminate of the similarites & differences between simon tam & daniel jackson, which I don't mind doing. & plus, daniel's getting this song in the second part of his mix.
- & I miss firefly. I want some firefly please!

3. Inara. Strong, beautiful and emotional. She's not ashamed of who she is, and while I do think there are times where she might questions certain decisions that she has made I think she realises that she made more right than wrong ones.
4. This is hard but I would have to say Sam. Level-headed and smart. Cautious when he has to be, yet able to relax when he knows that things are safe.
5. OMG, I've never actually watched a whole episode of Seinfeld. *hides*
Also, I think I should mention it here, but I intend to (finally) follow up on what I said many weeks ago in response to the "phone me!"-thing. I've texted you because I really don't know how much it's going to cost me. And I'm lame and I'm not sure it's going to work. (...I'm a month behind. /o\)
