Went down to Barnes & Noble today on a hunt for Tomb of the Cybermen, but alas, I didn't find it there either.

However! I went & inquired about their ordering procedures & the very nice girl who helped me explained that I could order it then, it would arrive the following week, they'd call me to let me know & I could just pick it up & pay for it then. When I went to Borders, they wouldn't let me pay in cash upfront, I had to pay with a credit card right then. I still need to get my bank account sorted out (o, sigh, Saffron, when will you be better about your finances?), so that was out. But I placed the order for it at Barnes & Noble today & let's just hope it'll be in my hands by next week, eh? When it gets here, I think I'll have everything that's been reconned, or that survived from the Troughton era, plus a little from the Hartnell era. Then, the great rewatch-athon shall begin!

Interestingly enough, it'll start with the William Hartnell era for the first three serials, I think. The idea is to do three serials a weekend, recons & what I have on DVD, which is a good amount. Of course, when I get to the DVDs, I get to listen to all the commentaries & watch all the extras, so that could take a bit. But it'll be tons of fun!

I may even do a relisten to all three of the Two-era Companion Chronicles after I watch everything - The Great Space Elevator (which I believe we'll be doing a community listen to over at [livejournal.com profile] oh_fiddle soon), Helicon Prime (which I'm actually listening to now & quite enjoying, despite the plot holes) & Fear of the Daleks. Also, I remember poking around the TARDIS wiki & noted that apparently Polly has a story of her own coming out at some point. Must look further into that.

(& do you know I have The Dalek Invasion of Earth on DVD & I still haven't seen it? I feel like I should try & locate The Aztecs first, then move on to Susan's last serial. But I'd like to see it. Hmm.)

Beyond my mad fannishness, nothing too new's been happening lately. I do, however, have a new layout, userinfo & I redid my icons a bit. I've also got a shiny new Two-era moodtheme by [livejournal.com profile] balcairn, which I love. Pretty pretty Two & all of his pretty era.

(I ♥ monochrome. Is pretty!)

I also bought more tea today. That makes . . . five kinds or so - no, wait, this one's a sampler tin set, so maybe . . . ten types?

& the sad thing? I'd still think about buying more if I saw some I liked. Right now I'm having a white tea called Ambrosia Plum. It's nice, not too remarkable, but it's a fine tea before bed! It's also in a sachet, as opposed to being loose, like I usually have it.

I looked at kettles & teapots today, but I didn't find any that I could just fill & boil on the stove like my broken one, & plus, I didn't have enough money to buy one anyway. But a new kettle needs to be procured sooner rather than later, I think.

Some people are addicted to coffee. I shouldn't be roused in the morning without a cup of tea if you expect me to bounce up & sing to you. [/tea addict]

Goodness, I'm dull when I'm sleepy, aren't I?

(but I ♥ this damn icon.)

Mmm teaaaaa...I need me some good tea! I have lipton right now, and thats IT. Do you know how weak lipton is? It's like drinking hot water plain D: I need me another canister of Dragon Well because that stuff is like FOOD, I swear. It's a snack, honestly. And a good breakfast tea, I need something for the mornings too...I hate being broke.

Your new layout is pretty!

Withnail + Marwood Cigarette= OTP ♥

Where are you in California, if you don't mind me asking? I want to come stalk you, watch DW DVD's and steal your tea :)

UGH, LIPTON. That is NOT tea, that's just weak, IMITATION tea, I swear! My pappy makes a good sweet tea from it though, & that's ONLY how I'll have it.

& OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING LINKING ME TO THAT PLACE DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY I WILL LOSE TO TEA NOW? Thankyou. :D But your tea of choice sounds delicious! I'm fond of China Gunpowder green tea myself, but I only ever found a cylinder of it literally at the end of the state last October. I'm almost out! :O

Thankyou! I found so many nice ones; it was hard to choose between all of them.

HELL YES. :D Cigarettes are a suitable substitute for curly-haired, doe-eyed writer-actors in a pinch, y/n?

& I'm in San Francisco, actually! Land of tea, lots of craziness & a LOT of hills. You totally should. Classic!Who snaps & tea will be here for you!
