I finally finished S3 of SGA! & it only took a week for me to do so! (I sleep too much, really.)

So, I believe some squee/ranting/sniffling/OMGWHATINHELL/fangirly moments are in order here!

(& yes, I didn't go episode by episode & I'm crazy disorganized - is this a PROBLEM?)

- UM. Sateda was LOVE & I MEAN LOVE. It actually made me startcrushing on liking Ronon! It's not that I hadn't before, but it was hard to - I didn't think he had a lot of depth in the second season, but OMG, HERE, I GOT DEPTH. & it was sexy, badass, awesome depth. Yup, totally fangirling Ronon right now!

& RODNEY GOT SHOT IN THE ASS WITH AN ARROW, O DEAR. ::giggles:: Yes I'm mean & am giggling like a girl at Rodney's discomfort, but hey, he has John to make it all better afterward, right? OF COURSE!

- Irresistible kind of annoyed me for some reason. I think because it was a TOTAL waste of the ol' sex pollen/aliens made them do it cliche idea! I mean . . . THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE. Or not. I don't know - it just bugged me for some reason!

- The Real World . . . okay, it was an excellent episode, but it just disturbed me on some levels. I have a slight phobia of mental lockups & sometimes of hospitals, so you can imagine why I wasn't too comfortable watching it. I loved it, it was one hell of an Elizabeth episode, but her being locked up in a mental ward was hard to watch. BUT OMG JACK WAS IN THIS & KILLED ME WITH HIS . . . PRESENCE. (yeah, that's it, presence!) ::sighs happily:: Yay for Jack!

- ASDFGHJKL;LKJHGFDSAOMYGOD HOW MUCH DID I LOVE McKay and Mrs. Miller? OMFG I . . . I JUST LOVED IT SO SO FUCKING MUCH. SAM WAS IN IT. SAM! & OMG, JEANNIE IS THE CUTEST THING EVER TO BE IN AN EPISODE OF SGA. & just . . . ::flappy hands & toes:: I think I have a teeeeeeny little crush on Rod, I think I do! ::blushes:: I can't help it - he was nice & looked damn yummy in that leather jacket!

But there was Sam & Rodney interaction! & I ♥ Jeannie, I really do! I hope she comes back soon, she's a darling thing & just as smart as Rodney!

(& OMG KATE HAS CURVES! She's cute & curvy & looks so vibrant & lovely!)

Seriously - I think it may have kicked both The Storm & The Eye out of their spots as my top favourite SGA episodes, along with Sateda. & Martin Gero wrote it, which makes me go OMGSQUEE! because almost everything he's written I've loved. (not all of it though)

- The above squee also goes for Tao of Rodney because OMG, DAVID HEWLETT MADE ME ALL WIBBLY YET AGAIN WITH HIS TALENT. ::flails:: Just . . . I LOVED that ep, it's one of the strongest Rodney eps in the whole series, I think. Rodney's little scenes with Radek! Radek almost getting killed! (that was SO not cool by the by, way to give me a heart attack there!) Rodney being so . . . nice! Aaaagh, just an all-around GOOD episode!

(& there was Radek/Elizabeth moments! ::squees::)

- Echoes was interesting, if only for the fact that RODNEY LISTENS TO CELINE DION OMG SILLY MAN. Though watching Rodney take a header into the controls of the jumper was nice to see too! (it made me want to cuddle him a bit)

- I liked how much more screentime Carson had this season! Aww, Carson. ::pets::

- SQUEE FOR JACK MAKING CAMEOES ONG SGA! ::flops:: It was so much fun to see Jack being, well, Jack! Warmed my little fangirl's heart, it did! (& he was o so lovely still! ::swoons::)

- Common Ground had Genii in it! ::dances:: Yes, I'm really rather fond of the Genii, even though Underground bores the hell out of me. But I must protest - NO SORA?! Come on, bring back the cute redheaded commando! We need cute badasses!

(& awwwwww, Rodney's worry for John made my heart do a little tap-dance of happy!)

- Irresponsible had more Genii in it! More fun!

& okay, saving the angst for last here . . .

- I cried during Sunday. Not as much as I sniffled through Meridian, but still - Sunday was like one long extended version of watching Wash die in Serenity - Carson's death just came from out of nowhere - I thought he'd maybe be okay, that maybe Teyla would kick it instead, but then BOOM & goodbye Carson, just like that! It was like Wash all over again. O, & also? MORE POINTLESS DEATH HAPPENING IN MY FANDOMS OMG. Not cool, folks, NOT cool. Just . . . WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT OF THAT?

::sighs:: I know, I know, these things have to happen, but still - I liked Carson! Maybe not as much as Rodney, but I did like him!

- Kaylee's playin' doctor! ::giggles:: Okay, THIS I want to see. (even though I am inexplicably annoyed by Jewel's presence on SGA & I don't even know why - I kind of liked Jennifer, in the little time we had to see her.)

- "Why don't you two just make out and get it over with?"

::FLAILS:: AWWWW, JOHN'S A RODNEY/RADEK SHIPPER. ::giggles::

- & lastly, may I have a happy dance over how much more screentime Radek had in season three? & he is SO crazy shippy with Rodney! Rodney/Radek used to give me a major case of the squicks, but now I sort of want to read some!

So yeah - in conclusion, season three was full of shiny, except the whole killing the nice Scottish doctor bit & the waste of the alien sex pollen storyline. There we go, all done!

Heehee, I watched A Dog's Breakfast again today . . . twice. I laughed myself into PAIN each time, even with the commentary on! I kind of want to watch it again, because my brain keeps looping the "DANCE, MONKEY, DANCE!" scene over & over & OVER in my head! O, man, I think that might be my second favourite part.

(O, & let_fate_decide, I SAW THE TATTOO. & Paulie's got some good arms, if I may say so!)

& AWW, Kate is still the cutest thing ever! She looks adorable in pigtails & she's so pretty & curvy! She's just so very cute!

& speaking of Stargate related things, I finally got back to watching SG-1 - I actually started to miss it while I was marathoning SGA! I took a break from it after season five (dammit, this fandom will break me by the time I'm done with it, won't it?), but tonight I was like, 'you know . . . Daniel or not, I HAVE to watch season six - I miss Sam & everyone else!' So I popped in the first four episodes & here's a couple of things I'd like to pop in & say!

- Redemption WAS SO MUCH FREAKING AWESOME! The Sam/Rodney! & the sweet little Rodney woobie moments! AAAGH, much fanbunny explosions from the awesome. & awwwwww, Sam kissed him on the cheek! (& come on Sam, you can't not be just a tiny bit into Rodney . . . can you?) ::flails:: SO. MUCH. AWESOME.

- Okay . . . I am TRYING to like & to dislike Jonas at the same time, but I think I'm actually kind of liking him! It started in Frozen, even though he sort of poked my heart a bit when he told Jack that not a day goes by when he doesn't think about what happened to Daniel. So I'm kind of torn between liking him & not liking him. Pout! He may win me over somehow . . . maybe.

- Sam's hot when she's soaking wet. Actually, make that hotter! Same goes for Jack. (I vote more underwater scenes for Amanda in S4 of SGA!)

- Sam is still love & I still ♥ her like crazy. (see? that's ONE thing I have in common with Rodney! ::giggles::)
