Mwhee! I was actually supposed to be Productive!Betsy today by going to the bank to sort out my finances (o, don't want toooooooo) & going to the pharmacy, but instead, my day turned into Lazy!Pyjamas day, in which I ate food, drank tea, sat about in my pyjamas all day & watched Doctor Who & (finally!) some Torchwood! GOOD DAY, Y/Y?

& now, I shall squee a bit.

Doctor Who

- ASDFGHJKL;'LKJHGFDSASZXCFGHJK,L.;OMFG DAVID TENNANT. I FINALLY GOT MY WISH FOR SOME TENNANT GOODNESS TO GRACE MY LINE OF VISION OMG YAY. ::licks::

(yes, it should be noted by one & all, that I was a bit of a Tennant fancier before I started watching Doctor Who. Just a little bit!)

- Blink, though I didn't see all of it, is FUCKING CREEPY, OKAY? ::will never look at a statue the same way again::

- MARTHA! Okay, up until today, I'd never actually seen Martha in action, but OMG THAT GIRL IS SO CUTE! ::glomps her:: Maybe I won't hold her in the same contempt I held Jonas Quinn in. ::ponders:: I could get to like her.

colonel_taisa that he was "funny looking." Cue a rather displeased response from her. So this note is for her.

- ZOMG JACK & IANTO. Um. (that's a good UM, by the way.) ::wonders if she may play with this pairing after only TWO episodes::

- Heehee. I told my boything I was watching Torchwood & he was all YAY!!!!! (we were texting, as we always do) HAHA, HE & NISHA HAVE RECIEVED THEIR WISH FOR ME TO GET INTO TORCHWOOD.

I was watching Doctor Who last night & decided to pop in Dalek. (JESUS CHRIST THOSE THINGS FREAK ME THE FUCK OUT.) This was my second viewing of it I think, & guess who was in it? Sarah Gardner/Osiris! Yes indeed, Daniel Jackson's English rose of an ex-girlfriend, who later played host to the Goa'uld Osiris was in Doctor Who! WHEE FANDOMS COLLIDING OMG.

Anna-Louise Plowman does a good American accent. Plus, she's still delicious!

Ooo, Torchwood's back on! ::settles in with her tea::

Also? Don't mix chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with green tea. It's kind of . . . icccccccccccck.

::glomps her flist very hard:: O, happy Christmas to every one of you! I hope you all had a fabulous, wonderful, shiny, sparkly & fun-filled winter holiday of your choice! I had quite a nice Christmas actually & today was rather nice too.

Christmas!

- I actually slept for once on Christmas Eve - I generally don't, because I'm so excited, but I did this time! Woke up at four & had to wait until seven to get to my gifts, but I got to wake Mummy up with a meow!

- I got a LOT of stuff, srsly - I couldn't even SIT in front of the tree, there was that much stuff! So I sat on the bed & YAY HAD CHRISTMAS.

- My father didn't come by, which made it even better - he tends to make ANYTHING joyous fall flat in TWENTY seconds of being near him on a holiday. He did get me good things though! & he even got something for my kittyfluffy!

- What DID I get? Well, here's my list!

- A Hello Kitty bathmat which I'm going to use for a shoe mat in my new room

- A NEW DVD PLAYER YAYZ

- THE HELLO KITTY TOASTER. Yes, I KNEW I was getting it, but still - IT'S SO CUTE! We however, have yet to USE it.
- Cute Hello Kitty headphones that match Dean's case! (Dean being my black iPod & eee, I love him so!)

- a SECOND Hello Kitty blanket that I already have, but I don't mind - more Hello Kitty pretties!
- a cool alarm clock that attaches to Dean so he can STILL be my alarm clock!

- a snuggly white bathrobe which I REALLY wanted

- Fifty dollars to spend on music at the iTunes store!
- lots & lots of stuff in my stocking, which included, but is not limited to: Hello Kitty stationary, notebooks, candy, bubbles, hair accessories & such.

My kittyfluffy got a cute hairbrush that he likes - at least when my mummy uses it on him, I haven't yet! Mummy got a big purse from my aunt, a new iRobot vacuum cleaner, books from my brother, a sweater from my aunt & some bath stuffs - she was quite happy with her vacuum cleaner! (I gave her my gift a few weeks ago, you know!)

So I spent the morning trying to go back to sleep, watching A Christmas Story with Mummeh & trying to watch the SG-1 marathon. (boo, I didn't get to, but I'm all good - I got to see Vala!boobies for a bit! Also a nice present, you see!) Then around three, we went over to my aunt & uncle's place for Christmas dinner & family revelry. From them, I got a cute denim&Japanese print wallet, a mug with CANDY in it, a Hello Kitty tree ornament (which I am SO leaving up all year long!) & a CUTE little puppy stuffie, which I can't decide what to name - Cameron's a cute name for a puppy, yes? Or Jackson . . . ::shifty eyes:: I also watched the guys play Halo 3 & Rock Band - THAT I LOVE, but only because I got to sing for some of it.

laii, I wore my Jayne hat over there! It was quite well liked, though no one knew its significance, alas. O, well!

Today

Today was equally as nice - I laid in bed until five & ate food still IN BED (lately I'm eating breakfast in bed - SO nice!), then toddled out into a freezing cold house. BUT! Guess what was on the Lifetime channel? Under The Mistletoe with Jaime Ray Newman & Michael Shanks! I actually screamed 'OMG STOP RIGHT THERE & PUT IT BACK ON!' when Mother flipped by it. She did, but whined & said 'O, I'm not leaving it on!' but she DID & I basically got Michael Shanks for Christmas. & she actually liked it too, even though she was GONE for what was left of it. She thinks Michael's cute. (HEE, WIN!) & I liked it myself, but only for the pretty & OMG NISHA, HE SERVES HOT CHOCOLATE IN IT. & HE WORKS WITH KIDS! IT'S LIKE PROFESSOR!DANIEL ALL OVER AGAIN. ::swoons::

So in conclusion? I still heart Michael Shanks & he needs to kiss girls more often & I NEED TO SEE IT.

Lastly! Because I got a pretty new camera (which I need to NAME), I'm going to try my hand at the ol' photo meme!

listening to Iron & Wine ♦ Evening On The Ground (Lilith's Song)

I mostly haven't been updating lately (with real content, that is) because every time I open Semagic to say something vaguely real-life/non-fandom related, I realise how stupid & insipid it is & talk myself out of updating or posting. But that ends tonight, because on Saturday night, I got to have dinner with my mother, brother, sister&brother-in-law & my adorable niece at The Cheesecake Factory! Seriously people, if you ever get the chance to go to one, GO. The food is amazing & one plate of something will fill you up! We didn't get any cheesecake because we were all so full, but still, BEST DINING EXPERIENCE OF EVER.

Of course, the best part of being there was the fact that we were on the top floor of Macy's here in San Francisco, so we basically had an amazing outddor view of Union Square, the St. Francis Hotel & about half of downtown San Francisco. It was breathtaking. We could see the beautiful Christmas tree & menorah in Union Square (& the people lighting it for Hanukkah!) & I could see Borders & o . . . it was amazing. When we got outside, my mouth was literally hanging open for at least ten seconds!

But OMG it was so cold out! ~~My Betsyboobies were freezing!~~

& o, my niece is just so adorable! Everywhere she went, people were oooing & aahhhing over her - & for a picture, she sat on my knees! She is, simply, the cutest little strawberrything I have ever seen. ::cuddles her:: & she even kissed Mother & I goodbye!

Someone uploaded a full zip for my Daniel mix. A full, over one hundred MB zip with ID3 tags just for my silly little mix! I am blown away by the kindness of that person! Seriously, people can be very sweet!

I did shopping with my pappy on Saturday. He was in less of a venomous, bigoted mood, so it wasn't so bad, but it wasn't that much fun either. I did however, get my new printer! I was going to pay for it myself (I'd even saved for it!), but he paid for it instead. Then we drove to a second Target so we could get one of my Christmas gifts, namely, a Hello Kitty toaster! He actually got it for me (though I can't have it until Christmas), then we stopped at See's Candy & he got me a little box of chocolate with PINK COCONUT BONBONS in them & my favourite cherry-filled chocolates & let me pick the rest. Plus, we got a soft center box for Mother & I.

He wouldn't let me buy the pink Hello Kitty hairdryer though. Pout! But I can order that on the website! & also (if I wanted to, but I don't really) the Hello Kitty popcorn maker, the Hello Kitty water dispenser, the Hello Kitty lamp, the Hello Kitty waffle maker . . .
